[ It's sometimes later that day that a messenger rabbit comes a knocking on Rue's door. The messenger is about the cutest thing you can imagine. Isn't his hat just adorbz? Anyway. He carries with him a large yellow box. Inside, there are a dozen early Grey honey cupcakes. Aren't they pretty? Pretty tasty too. There is a note inside. Kate's handwriting can only be described as lovely. ]
Rue, Thank you for the bottle of wine. I appreciate the thought and gesture that went into the gift. More importantly, I appreciate your friendship. I always find some form of comfort when you are around. I hope today will find you full of cheer and good wishes from all those that love you.
[Delivered in a pale pink box embossed with Hoot Couture in gold along the top, Kate will find a pretty green evening gown wrapped beautifully in a heap of matching tissue paper. And there on the top, is a matching post card that reads:]
[ In a green box with a white bow, Kate delivers her own present to Rue. Inside, are two dozen, Valentine's Day macarons. They are all vanilla but colored to look like those old, heart-shaped candies that taste like chalk. She thinks they are cute and hopes Rue will like them.
There is a note and it reads: ]
